Educational Qualification

How the SSC CGL exam is conducted?

Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduation Level examination is a national level examination that will employ the people into various positions once they qualify in SSC Result 2019. The pattern of SSC CGL Tier -2 examination

SSC CGL tier 2 examination mode is changed from offline to online mode. There are a total of four sections in this level and each one is allotted 2 hours of time to solve the question paper. This level carries a total of 800 marks which are equally divided among the four papers that means each one carries 200 marks. Each section will have just 100 questions only, it means each question carries 2 and negative marking of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The subjects included in tier 2 are as follows:

The pattern of tier 3 examination

SSC CGL tier 3 is an offline mode examination and applicants need to attend it in pen and paper. It is completely a descriptive type of examination which is allotted for 100 marks with time duration being just 1 hour. Even this exam is provided with negative marking and each wrong answer carries a deduction of 0.50 marks as a negative mark from the total.

The pattern of tier 4 examination

SSC CGL tier 4 is a skill level examination which is conducted to test the skills and proficiency of the applicant. That is related to typing skills and the tests are Data Entry Skill Test as well as Computer Proficiency Test. Even this examination carries negative marks and each wrong answer is allotted 0.50 mark deduction from the total obtained by the candidate.

  1. The first and foremost step is to visit the official website of the SSC CGL where the application needs to be filled.
  2. In the site, click on the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam tab.
